          Ticket FAQ

Q: Do I have to see the houses in order?

A: No – you decide which houses to see and when! You may view each home once and in any order. Last tour begins ½ hour before closing.

Q: What should I bring with me?

A: Flat soft sole shoes as Bare Feet and High Heels are not allowed in the homes. We will have a limited supply of booties at the homes, too (if you are visiting multiple homes, please be green and hang onto your booties).

Q: Are children allowed on the Home Tour?

A: Children over the age of six years old are allowed on the home tour, but must have their own ticket. An adult must accompany and be responsible for children at all times in the homes. There are no strollers allowed in homes.

Q: How do I know where to go?

A: There is a map on the tickets with the location of the houses on tour. At the first one you visit you will receive a program which includes a map and information about the houses and public buildings on tour, location of bathrooms, refreshments, the opportunity drawing, etc.

Q: What happens when I get to the homes?

A: At each house, groups of 6-8 visitors tour through with docents.  You may have to wait a few minutes at some houses depending on the number of visitors ahead of you.  Some homeowners require the use of over-the-shoe booties which will be provided.

Q: Do I need to specify which day I want to attend?

A: No, tickets are valid for either or both days.  You can tour some of the homes on Friday and some on Saturday.

Q: Are there other things I should keep in mind?

          A: Yes
